In Matthew 28, Jesus gave his disciples specific instructions, which would later be referred to as The Great Commission. What were they told to do? Go and make disciples. That is what we at M2L Palm City exist to do. That is where our story begins.

We strive to come alongside each individual, encouraging them in their walk and helping them fulfill their calling. We do this by exploring God's truth in His Word, worshipping His goodness and pursuing His will for our lives — together.

Mark Weir, Elder Pastor

Pastor Mark and his wife, Rebekah, have been married since 2013. They are blessed with three wonderful children—Landon, Grayson, and Ahna. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, especially traveling to the mountains and hiking scenic trails. They also would never turn down a cruise of any kind!

Together, Mark and Rebekah served in youth ministry for five years. In December of 2025, Mark was ordained into ministry, affirming God’s call on his life to shepherd and lead His people.

Pastor Mark and Rebekah are passionate about seeing people encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and experience the abundant life found in Christ.

Tim Welborn, Elder Pastor

Tim and Tina Welborn have have been married for nearly 30 years. They’ve been in ministry together for almost 20 years, and have four amazing children - Emily, Sarah, Evelyn and Joseph. They pastored a church here in South Florida for 15 years. Tim is self-employed as an entrepreneur, and Tina teaches courses at a Christian School. Together, they love to travel, and would never say no to an escape room.

James Garner, Elder Pastor

For more than 42 years, James and Robyn have faithfully served the Lord in ministry. Their enduring commitment to Christ and His Church stands as a testimony to God’s faithfulness through every season of life.

Through the years, God has blessed them with their wonderful children: Zach and his wife Ashley, Katie and her husband Luke, Bethany, and Christian. They are also blessed with six cherished grandchildren.

Outside of ministry, James and Robyn enjoy attending theater performances and appreciate the arts and the opportunities they provide for creativity, inspiration, and shared experiences.
